Yes Eclipse 4G Smartphone

YTL Communications has just launched the Yes Eclipse, the world’s smartest 4G phone that also supports GSM 3G and 2G network simultaneously last week.

I have seen a prototype of it some months back during a luncheon we YTL comm. CEO Mr Wing. It suppose to lunch it last year, well it is better late than never.

At 135g, the phone with the display of 4.1” WVGA multi- touchscreen, 262k colours,  powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 512MB ram and 2GB ROM, the device has micro-USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and etc.
It also features a 5 Megapixel with autofocus and LED flash on rear camera coupled with 0.3 Megapixel on front camera.

The divice is priced at RM 1,688, but users can choose from Eclipse Postpaid Plans to get more value. According to Tan Sri Francis Yeoh, the company would be increasing its base stations to 5,000 by the year-end in a bid to expand its network coverage. Currently  the company has about 2,200 base station that give it a coverage of about 70% of the country’s population.

YTL Comm. CEO Wing Lee saying that the Eclipse was designed to provide users with a seamless connectivity. The  company are in an age where mobile internet is becoming more and more pervasive. With the fast mobile internet performance of the Eclipse, Yes customers will have full-fidelity mobile internet experience in their hands.
