USING your historgram.
The histogram is addictive. If you are not careful, you will spend more time studying it than looking for the next shot. By all means, take a test exposure at the start of the session , but after comparing the histogram with the camera reckons is the good exposure , it’s unnecessary and distracting to keep checking back . all the information you need is in the viewfinder- once you’ve used the histogram to find out how much the good exposure deviates from what the meter indicates.
