How to be a better photographer. Part 2

Of all the technical reasons for a picture failing, unintended lack of sharpness remains one of the most common. And while there isn’t much you can do if the subject moves unexpectedly during the exposure , there’s plenty you can do to ensure the camera remains steady. See that screw thread on the bottom of your camera? Use it! A tripod is your main ally, but not the only one and, if not handled properly, can prove more of a liability to both you and your camera.
